What happens when my free AI credits run out?
The full toolkit keeps working — all viewers, editors, analysis tools, import/export, and local version control remain fully functional. Only the AI features (explain, modify, generate) will show an upgrade prompt. You can upgrade to Pro at any time to continue using AI.
What are AI credit packs?
Credit packs let you add more AI usage beyond your monthly allowance. Each $99 pack provides additional AI credits that don't expire. They're ideal for months when you have heavier AI usage — for example, during a large refactoring project.
Is my code stored on your servers?
No. PLC Forge is a desktop application that runs locally on your machine. Your project files never leave your computer unless you explicitly choose to use remote git repositories. AI features send only the relevant code context to our AI service for processing — it is never stored.
What PLC platforms do you support?
At launch, PLC Forge supports Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) L5X files with 100% round-trip fidelity. Support for additional platforms and file formats is on our roadmap.
Do I need an internet connection?
The core toolkit (editors, viewers, analysis, local version control, import/export) works fully offline. An internet connection is only needed for AI features and remote git repositories.
When will Teams and Enterprise be available?
